one good thing about light pollution

been the sky-watcher that i am, ive noticed a phemonenon here that ive never seen before. at dusk, maybe around 6 or 6:30, the sun has pretty much set and the moon is out, but the light pollution from chicago keeps the sky bright baby blue. it creates this great effect with the blue sky, pink clouds, and a the moon. towards the south, the blue is darker and towards the north its lighter, but its overall very cool looking. im not saying that i would rather have the light pollution because i think i would rather be able to see the stars at night, i miss the stars. i hope one day to be able to take a boat trip across the ocean just so i can stay up all night looking at the stars. now, off to gilmore girls.
