gearing up

well, this im enjoying not having a lot to do for the last time in a while. starting this weekend i have work galore. i have a chem and math midterm and a paper on marx which is going to require a lot of work. anyway, im going to need to work a lot this week. im cool with that, its just a bit daunting. tonight i needed to do a chemistry problem set and a math take home quiz. i finished the chem and started the math, but i have the rest of tonight to finish it, i just got back dinner and am taking a bit of a break. my parents rock, they helped me out so much with my chemistry. im so glad to have them only a phone call away.

ive been thinking a lot about how people are so competetive here. its really strange to me. i was super competetive in 10th and 11th grade, and then in 12th grade, we all just stopped. we started applying to different schools and started getting in and not caring so much. we started realizing that grades are not the important thing in the long run. all i can hope for is to do my best and not base it on what everyone around me can do. im also surprisingly laid back. maybe im just the weird one though.
