summer happenings

well, this summer sure has been interesting. i wasnt able to find a summer job anywhere, which was disappointing. but i have ended up working for my dad around the house painting, cleaning, cooking, organizing, etc. its been working out pretty well. i got 3 weeks of work as a camp counselor, those were character building, i'll leave it at that. im looking forward to my family coming up for a party we are having. my grandpa is turning 90 next week, so we are having a birthday party for him. i dont know how many more times i will get to see him, so it will definitly be good to have him around (and my grandma) for the rest of the summer.
