good times and good friends

this previous weekend i visited some friends at their colleges because im still at home. im a little bitter about being left by all my friends for this month because my school has to start so late, but it was good to be able to see my friends again and even get to see where they live, meet their other friends, etc. the night was loads of fun and i met lots of cool people. we got to go out to dinner, out to parties, and then wake up really late and talk for a few hours before it was time to take off again. so now im back to my life here, and its not so bad, especially since i have to start getting my things together to leave now. so im counting down the days til i get to go back to school too.

19 days

well, i have less than 3 weeks now til school starts, it may sound like a lot, but it really isnt in my mind. i have a lot of stuff i want to get done and have been putting off until my friends left. so they are all gone now, i have been working, saving, cleaning, organizing, etc. getting ready for school. it definitely feels like the time to back to school is right around the corner. but although im excited to go back, this summer has been a lot of fun and just what i needed.
