even though i have been accused of (confused for?) being british by saying that, i wish you all a very happy christmas or whatever holiday you choose to celebrate. and also an upcoming happy new year.

the white hat people

i read postsecret.blogspot.com most every week and last week there was a post about a person going to the movies alone and enjoying it. so there were a few responses and the short of it is that there is a group of people that are now starting to go to the movies on saturday night wearing white hats to signal that they are alone and willing to chat or get a cup of coffee or the like. i think this is awesome because i like going to movies, even alone, and it would be cool to have this sort of symbol be much larger, even spreading to other days, other venues, etc. so if you want to go out by yourself but still meet people, break out your white hat.

finals and coats

had a ridiculously easy primates exam this morning, talked about selfish, spiteful, and mutualistic behavoirs.

have a ridiculously hard anatomy exam this afternoon...thats scary.

also, i dislike it when people get nice new coats or skirts or jackets and dont cut the little pieces of thread that tie the tails together. they really look like idiots. do they not notice? do they think thats how its supposed to be instead of something done to prevent shoplifting or returning worn clothing? it confuses me and makes me sad.

also, i need sleep and more coffee.
